Olga Shapovalova, partner of Benchers Law Firm and former judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, spoke at the White-Collar Crime School 2022, which was held by the Kyiv branch of the Students' League of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

She told young lawyers about the origins of corruption crimes, analyzing her own observations and judicial practice, and brought up for discussion the reasons for committing such crimes and possible ways to combat corruption.

«I am frankly amazed at how interested people gathered at the event, what a high level of students and deep knowledge of judicial practice. I am sure that the participants of this event will find their professional path and show themselves as real experts in law», Olga says.

Supporting student initiatives, Benchers Law Firm also acted as the general partner of the event.
